Okay, don’t get me wrong from the title of this post, but this is not some sort of a challenge… or at least not for know. I was wondering why Kindle Unlimited had thrilled me for a while now but I was never interested in signing in or trying it (literally). So I decided to check out and find at least 10 books that I can borrow to try the service at least until I finish the list of books.
Even though Kindle Unlimited is around 95% erotic and romance e-books, and I am not into those type of titles -but if you like them go ahead and joy-, I have found the following titles that might convince me, they did, to joying Kindle Unlimited, so check them out!
Book #1: Harry Potter
All the Harry Potter books, main saga, are part of Kindle Unlimited, so since I have been a bit obsessed with Potter this year, I must include them here. I do have the books, so I do not think I will be rereading them on Kindle but this is a catch for sure! (Full review of those books here!)
Book #2 The Handmaid’s Tale
Popular as it is! This one was the topmost sold on Amazon this year, The Handmaid’s Tale came back with such force that I have to read it. Although is not within my plans to buy it and read it now, I would totally do it if I had Kindle Unlimited. All the critics and the Hulu Show are so insisting that I have to read this one.
Book #3 & 4: 1984 and Animal Farm
This is a mega combo! I have been interested in these two books for a while but they are so expensive for what the actual physical book price is, the Kindle titles are even worse taking in consideration that it is a digital read and it is almost as expensive. I am not saying that they are not worth it, on the contrary, I think they are totally worth the money, but I mean we are on a short budget. Animal Farm and 1983 are totally on my top list to read on Kindle Unlimited.
Book #5 Good Behavior
And I said, “Oh Yes, you got me here!” Good Behavior by Crouch and Kindle In Motion are just an amazing value added to Kindle Unlimited and my reading experience. I LIke Courch’s titles, I read the Pines trilogy (1, 2, and 3) and I quite like it! That Trilogy got to be a TV show, even though it was Night Shyamalan (not a big fan of his hobbies of destroying things) this title got to the small screen! Now, we have Good Behavior on TNT. I have heard a bit about this title, but I will totally read it once I joying Kindle Unlimited.
Book #6 Extremely Loud and Incredible Close
This title was brought to our attention when my colleague @santi9393 talked about it on the tag “The Listicle Tag: Top 5 Portrayals of Mental Illness in YA novels” Now, this is part of KU and I haven’t read the book… nor watched the movie. He has, but not me. SO I think this is a moment to catch up and review both movies and book 😀 I mean we all love that XD and I am trying to adventure on the adaptation world with all the theory that I learn! (and @santi9393 is quite experienced on the subject)
Book #7 Life and Other Near-Death Experiences
Being honest and transparent, I must tell you that this one I liked it because of the cover. Then I read the synopsis and I still like it. It looks like those cheesy movies in which the dying girl fells in love again but it has comedy on it. “Romantic comedy?” a something like that XD Now, I know what I said at the beginning, but this does not seem to have narrations of intercourse… I hope so… if it does, it might have like 3- on the rating XD
Book #8 Life of Pi
You might say that I have been living under a rock, but if you know me well, you will know that I started my amazing non-spot journey in literature like 4 years ago XD I haven’t watched the movie… another opportunity for more reviews and adaptations and @santi9393 participation XD I have heard so many good things about this book and it is so mystical that I have to read it! I was shocked when I found out that KU has it! and I totally got convinced to read it!
Book #9 Crimes Against a Book Club
This title sounds so like those movies Bad Moms 1 and 2. I like that it says humor, so I’m safe with the romance parts XD The premise of the book sounds unique and intelligent. I have seen this book on sale, but I am not sure if it will be a good experience, but I am always optimistic and I will let you know!
Book #10 The Atopia Chronicles
Again, honestly, the cover first. Then the book. I like the idea of humanity escaping Earth, as everybody is saying we will do it at some point. I am not gonna be here when it happens though… anyway. I like the cover the premise, it is coming to be a tv show… that is good, right? (I hope Night Shyamalan is not the director… I really hope so) The three titles are part of KU and I see the value. This will be the first Sci-Fi book on the list and I might not like it, I might love it. Lately the Sci-Fi has caught my attention (not space stuff (Star Wars)) so I will see how it goes!
I bet there are more so if you liked this post let me know so that I can check the other 200 hundred pages of results!
Honorary mentions
Those three books are incredibly good! You have to check them out! I am being totally honest here! I first liked “The Light Of The Fireflies” because of the cover. Then I liked it so much and then I found out that he had “Desert Flowers” so I had to read it and it didn’t disappoint at all! “The Atlantis Gene” was really good and was on sale too! haha, I love Kindle sells! These titles are super cheap and amazingly good and part of Kindle Unlimited! Check the reviews of those books by click on the names!
If you wish to check the Goodreads profile, hey! Feel free to go there! I have added below the link to the review and the rating I gave to this book.
If you liked what I wrote and/or if you wish to comment or discuss, come and do it!
Thank you for reading!

I can see why you went for the last one, that cover 😮

That’s really cool that they have all the Harry Potter books on kindle unlimited- though I also have all the books as well, it’s really useful for people that don’t. And 1984 and Animal Farm are both must-reads 😀 Life of Pi is also really good 😀 This was such a great idea for a post!

Thank you for checking it out, following, and commenting! :3

Kindle Unlimited has a pretty good selection as far as I’ve seen, but you are totally right, it’s 95% romance and erotica and you just have to sift through it to find the good stuff. I’ve read The Handmaid’s Tale and wasn’t too much a fan but I hear the show is amazing and I’m dying to watch it. I hope you like the book more than I did if you get to it. I’ve also been meaning to read Good Behavior since I am completely obsessed with the show! I’ve read Blake Crouch’s Sci-fi novel, Dark Matter, and I really liked it so I hope I like this one too. By the way, I totally recommend Dark Matter! And great post!

I thought it was only me finding it hard to “like” KU haha Crouch books are not that bad and seems to be super accepted by the masses since at least 2 of his books/sagas were adapted to shows! I want to read The Handmaid’s Tale just for all the hype, show, and awards it got haha I haven’t even checked out what it is about (Black Matter) but I will take your word for it! I am not into sci-fi that much, at least not the space craft-star wars theme xD
Thank you!! :3

Dark Matter isn’t about space or any of that Star Wars-like things. It’s about a man who is going through various dimensions to find his home with the woman he loves. It’s actually really interesting. Let me know if you ever decide to read Dark Matter! And I really hope you enjoy The Handmaid’s Tale!!
