How to wisely buy physical books! Is there a better way? let me know!

As book lovers, we are constantly looking for more books to read. However, the bank account will suffer if we do not make the best out of our book money to get as many books as possible without spending a lot of money.

There are ways to save money on books. You can buy used books, lightly damaged books, over-inventory of books, Kindle ebooks on sale, or get free shipping! I will share some of my experiences here.

I am obsessed with Kindle Sales. If I can avoid buying an ebook at full price, I will do it. I think the only time I have bought a Kindle full price was due to school and only that one time. If you want to have access to daily deals and curated options of ebooks, you can follow us on Twitter! Where we will be sharing all those good deals! Imagine getting an ebook for $1.99 where the physical copy is $12…

Now, there are two pages that I love that provide free shipping, international shipping, and also incredibly low prices.

This bookstore will offer free shipping if you buy more than $10 on books, but also most of the books are used! Nothing like a book telling an additional story! All books go as down as $3.99! So if you buy 3 books, you already have free shipping!

Now, if you join today and buy $30 on books… which is around 8 books… you get one free on us using this link: FREE BOOK.

Also, stay tuned to their sales! They tend to give an extra 20% or such on your orders!

Another favorite of mine where I have purchased a ton of books is BookOutlet. They have so many books! Recently published books, big publishing books, indie books, and a lot of stories that you haven’t seen before.

This site categorizes their books as used, “lightly” damaged, and like new. They have a clearance section, $1.99 on selected books daily, and their classic versions with unique covers. BookOutlet also has its reward program! For each $1 spend, you get points that translate to discount coupons!

Remember that eligible book lovers who use your link will save $5 off their first order of $25+! Imagine all you can get from this website if you buy $25 on books that are as low as $1.99… and if you add the coupon you will get more books for less!

We have shared Stephen King Books, YA Sci-Fi Books, Jenna’s Book Club Books, Reese’s Book Club, and Good Morning America Book Club Books that you can get from BookOutlet! Check them out and get your craving for CHEAP books going!

Use any of the links to sign up to those pages and get free books or even discounts!

I always thought Amazon is not the cheapest place to shop. All of my friends shop on Amazon, for everything and not just books. Amazon is their go-to shopping center. But since I shop in different places, I see there are other places that are cheaper. Great analysis! Why not include Book Depository? it doesn’t ship to your country?

I think Amazon is pretty cheap… maybe also the convenience of buying everything in one single place make it to appealing for a lot of people? Haha but yes, I know like if you go around you may find other places that will give you different benefits and other prices… So I will keep looking around ! Thank you very much for the suggestion!
No Jasmine :(, they don’t ship to my country at least not when I checked like 2 years ago xD but I will check that on the weekend maybe that has changed 😛

Amazon it is amazing for everything! You are completely right! I usually don’t buy books in my country because they are super expensive, that is why I rather use Amazon or Book Outlet for books ;P

Besides my local, large chain bookstores, I usually use Amazon since shipping is free and I can preorder books as well. I’ve been using thriftbooks.com to build a collection of books from my childhood. (I’m pretty sure they ship internationally, one of my books came from Russia.) Book Depository is great too! You can look for the cheapest price and they ship internationally.

I try not to use local bookstores because in my country everything is a little bit more expensive xD I have an account with thriftbooks.com but I have never used it… They might ship to my country so I will give it a try one day thank you very much for sharing!
Book Depository doesn’t ship internationally to my country 😦 So I haven’t used it haha

Thank you very much for confirming the other website! I was a bit suspicious before xD

I appreciate your comments Brittany!! :3

When i buy unused books i go for Amazon sales 😀
Book depository is good sometimes but you need to find the deals. 90% of the time it’s same price as amazon but with longer shipping time

“longer shipping” time does not work XD unless the prices are low as f haha
If you ever see an Amazon Sale for unused books tweet me! 😀

        It’s usually sale for kindle…
Although, the base price on amazon is usually way cheaper than getting the books in store, especially for books that are out for a while.
