Review
The Naturalist is just the perfect and irresistibly weekend story for those who love a perfect crime being untangled by the impossibility of CSI but to another level – Inkish Kingdoms.
I am honestly struggling with these two reviews. The other review I don’t know how to do is Looking Glass by the same author. I incredibly enjoy this book that I literally rush through it! I was not expecting it to be that good! The narrator was incredible! The voice, his style, how he embodied, literally, the character. He gave life to the book and the characters! This is the first book from Will Damron that I read and then I read Beneath a Scarlet Sky and they are so different in narration! It is incredible!
This novel is so character center! All that happens and that is done, and all the resolution is basically because the main character is so obsessed and so good on what he does that we get to do and see the most amazing and incredible situations. I love all the science and the reference to real life things.
I had to google some of those killers that are mentioned while the main character is investigating, and I was so impressed and scared about their atrocities and how the author mixes these real events to his novel that makes it a little bit more real, which is terrifying!
