Honestly “Brokeback Mountain” and “Call Me By Your Name” are movies and books that moved me deeply. Adventuring into watching those movies are a brutal purging of the deepest fears that bloom in streams of tears of joy and pain. Whereas both films and movies are completely different, it deals with a clear theme of male to male love and relationships.
Although Annie Proulx has multiple stories withing the Wyoming Stories Series which are part of the LGBTQI genre, they fail to move me into reading them as they are not related to Ennis and Jack — story that broke me in the inside. However, recently read “Call Me By Your Name” another story that deals with topics of forbidden love, obsession, and long time yearning is coming back with a sequel. When I found out about this news, maybe too late as there were already a lot of people talking about it in Goodreads, I was flooded with excitement because “Call Me By Your Name” has this time gaps of the main characters where we only assume what could happened or what didn’t happen, but here we would be able to see a more mature encounters or relation between Ellio and Oliver.

This story, that is ready to be pre-ordered, will be released on October 2019 and it will not only be putting an end to the agonizing darkness Aciman left us in the first book, but “Find Me” is starting a new story about Elio’s dad and his divorce, and, more importantly, about a re-encounter of Elio and Oliver. How will I not read and expect this story with eager emotion of longing and desire? How not to read a story called “Find Me” about Elio and Oliver? This title is implying how the main characters of the first book are either praying to find each other by mistake or willingly. How to forget about how they relinquished their identity and their lives, Elio mainly, by calling each other by their own name? How not to expect the best and the most out of a book that marked this community?
So yes, I will not be reading “Find Me” by Andre Aciman because I will be devouring the pages out of that book. I cannot wait to get it and read it! If you haven’t read “Call Me By Your Name” get it from Book Depository 49% off and free worldwide shipping!
