oh did you ? :O is it as thrilling as it sounds and as twisted as I am hoping for?? XD

I found it both thrilling and twisted in places but at the same time it is a little all over the place, which I know has put a lot of people I know off this book. I look forward to finding out what think of it when you get around to reading it.

I really liked the first three. Martian i expected to be depressing, but it wasn’t that all. It was really fascinating. The two thrillers have really short chapters. The Woman in the Window is more of a slow burn tho.
Haven’t read the others.

What is a slow burn? like a slow read? Like you cannot rush through it? haha I saw that Erik said some read good things about that book too! Why did you think that The Martian was going to be depressing?

Well, i figured it will be depressing cuz the dude is basically stuck on Mars by himself. I’d be depressed most likely 😀
It wasn’t a slow read, but it took a while to stuff start to happen. It was more just sinister stuff going on and the main lady being confused. I mean, i love that kinda stuff, so i didn’t mind 🙂

Taking the movie as a reference… I think that I will love the book! Does it have too much science stuff? Not that I don’t like it but just wondering haha

There is a lot of science stuff but the author makes it very entertaining and more or less fun to read.

Evelyn Hugo and The Martian are some of my all-time favorite reads. I will say the beginning of the Martian was a bit rough but then at a certain point you cannot put it down!

The Martian and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo are two of my favorite books! The Woman in the Window was pretty good, too. I haven’t read the others, but I did like one of Sarah Pinborough’s other novels (Behind Her Eyes).

Oh I know nothing about Sarah to be honest haha I saw this book and the synopsis sounds incredible thrilling and intriguing XD what was your favorite part about The Martian? 😀

Honestly, I know a lot of people complain about the science, but I loved it! NASA even said almost everything is accurate, Weir spent so much time on it. I hope you enjoy it!
