Please don’t make me buy books so cheap!

It does not matter how much we try to convince ourselves that we do not need those 7 books on our wish list or those other 16 books on our online cart… we know deep down that the battle has been lost since we added them to the wish list or the cart.

Do we need those books? Yes, of course! Do we have that amount of money to pay for them? Most certainly not… but we have a toxic relationship with our credit cards and their illusion of unlimited funds.

With all the expenses in social security or private insurance, tuition, mortgage, rent, the gym membership, Spotify, Netflix, taxes, or better said… for just being an adult… we find ourselves desperately cutting corners here and there to save money. Save money that we weekly and dutifully work for… so we deserve those books or other little treats because at the end… we worked for them…

In my constant look up to save money, I became best friends with a few online sites that are making every penny saved worth it maximum value, and those are the sites that are helping me expand my library and my fiction world with incredible stories of love, hunger, horror, homicide, supernatural and more.

To save money on shipping, we must use Book Depository. They will mail books pretty much everywhere for free! And usually, their books have like 10% to 20% off here and there. But jusst be patient! They will get there… at some point!

To save money on shipping and to save more than just 20%, we must use Book Outlet. Yes, their catalog is not as wide as Book Depository, but you have to check those prices! For example, I bought:

“We Were Liars” signed, hardcover, and the deluxe edition for only $5.49
“Throne of Glass” hardcover, UK version, and the collector’s edition for $11.89
“Beautiful Creatures” paperback for $4.39
“Sky Key” paperback for $1.89.

If you keep adding books, you will get free shipping if you buy $35 or more. So can you imagine how many books you can get for $35 and with those prices? They also have a rewards program so no more miles or such, you get points for more books!
