The inhuman audio experience of The Sandman by Neil Gaiman

I have been an audio addict for a few years already. It was hard for me to get into this incredible world known as audiobooks. Audible has been quite an incredible journey since it allowed me to read or listen to more content in moments that I cannot use to read like walking my dogs or doing the laundry.

Once I was able to get to the audiobooks, paid attention, and understand what was going on, I became unstoppable. There is a comment that “The Sandman” by Neil Gaiman is not a book, and I have to agree because it is a graphic novel or comic-book and, in my opinion, one of the best audio productions that I have ever encountered.

However, how do you compensate or replace the images of a comic book when you are doing an audio version of it? By simply adding high-quality audio effects to make you see through your ears.

Not only the special effects are captivating, but also the cast that narrates the story is intoxicating. Neil Gaiman is the narrator, James McAvoy, Taron Egerton, Kat Dennings, Andy Serkins and more are part of this audiobook. I have gone crazy on Twitter with my ranting and excitement about this show! It is so hard for me to go back to reality when I am listening to this audio, and I am so happy seen my fellow readers and listeners feeling the same way I feel about this story.
