Noah Galvin, off Broadway or on Broadway, but always in Audible, is one of those narrators that are a pleasure to listen to in all his works! Just like Santino, his background in acting and theater makes their audiobooks a full experience! They able to make different voices for their characters, and they are able to compel so many emotions!
As of today, he is only 26 years old and lives in New York, like all Broadway aspiring or working actors! He is โfamousโ for a feud with Colton Haynes, but, gossip asides, he is well known for being a character in The Real OโNeals and for his titular role in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen.
The reason why I say that he is able to compel emotions in his audiobooks is because he narrates an all-time favorite of mine. He narrates: Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, which new edition with the new epilogue made me cry!
However, that is just one of the many audiobooks in his repertoire! And here I am going to mentioned a few of his most well-known works plus one book that I have been dying to listen to!
What if Itโs US by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera
By the same author of Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda and More Happy Than Not, we have this summer romance full of drama and expectations! Get to know New York from the eyes of a real New Yorker! Arthur sees that most striking boy he has seen so far in New York and Ben sees the sweetest… tourist ever in New York, but they donโt talk to each other until destiny actually interferes and makes them finally cross their paths again and fall hard for… the summer? or forever?
Forgive Me Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick
By the author of โThe Silver Linings Playbookโ, Forgive Me Leonard Peacock narrates the story of Leonardโs and his plotting to kill with his grandpaโs gun his ex-best friend. In a raw young adult story, we come across the multiple struggles of a teenager and the decisions that seems to be impossible. A powerful most read story for humanity! *Warning as this might have possible triggers for certain readers*
Somebody Up There Hates You by Hollis Seamon
I have the feeling that Noah likes difficult books with important and sensitive topics. In Somebody Up There Hates You, we have Richie a smart-mouthed and funny teenager that has cancer. He is in a hospice waiting for his death and his only roommates have been 60 and up, but now there is something or better said someone that is younger that had plans on her own and what seems to be just a friendship seems to be moving into something else.
These are some of the many books that he narrates! And this list is for those who like young adult audiobooks which are usually short and fast to dig in! But be careful as you might develop a new voice actor crush!
