How to Add Editorial Reviews to Amazon Book Page?

For many authors, Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is the best place to publish a book on your own without the need of an agent or a big publishing house. Many dreams of having your book available can be done as easily as writing your story, uploading it to the site, and make a buzz about it so that you can get your book read!

However, the work of having your book read takes more than just making it available as Amazon or KDP will not make any kind of attempt to market your book, and this is the main difference between self-publishing and signing a contract with a publishing house. Nonetheless, there are a few things that you can do to make your book more appealing like:

  1. Dashing book cover!
  2. Incredible book synopsis that calls the attention of the reader
  3. Book Reviews
  4. Editorial Book Reviews

Editorial book reviews are a great option to add “testimonials” of how great your book is and probably why other people should read it. Amazon, and maybe other sellers, prohibits to buy customer reviews, but you can hire professional readers like Inkish Kingdoms to do an editorial review for your work, and add it to your bookselling page.

Add Editorial Reviews to Amazon Book Page

Once you have gotten your editorial review, you just need to go to Amazon Author Central to brave your professional editorial review, and, below, you can see how to do so:

  1. Click the Books tab.
  2. Click the book you want to add your review.
  3. Click Edit book details for the Editorial Reviews page to open.
  4. Under Editorial Reviews, there are three options, but we will go with the first one “Add”:
    1. Click Add and follow the instructions to enter your Inkish Kingdoms editorial review.
      1. You will be asked the review source: the name of the person or company who wrote the review (Inkish Kingdoms), and the name of the publication, website, or forum where the review appeared.
    2. Click Preview and review your entry.
    3. When you’re satisfied, click Save changes

Add Editorial Reviews to your book’s front and back cover.

Once you are ready, you can go ahead and edit the front and back cover of your book since this is what customers will see first when they see your book in print. This professional review will call the attention of your potential readers and might convince them of reading your work.

The first steps to start marketing your work are simple and do not require much work. However, check other materials by Inkish Kingdoms that will help you position and give visibility to your dreams and written work.
