“The Night Circus” can be described in only one word… “Dreamy.” The quote selected for this review is the most accurate way to do describe what it feels to read this book.

“The Night Circus” is a fantasy that comes true in different shapes, colors, and fragrances. Erin Morgenstern plays with the textures on this book so exquisitely. You can smell the caramel apples and the sweet fragrances that cover the characters and the circus. You can imagine the starry nights that wrap the sky above the circus and the towns that they go to. One is able to smell and even see the green of the grass, the smell of the dew and rain.
Morgenstern through the novel narrates multiple life stories. A little messy at the beginning but isn’t life messy? One story that happens at the same time as my or your story is being sewed. A fabric stitch with treats of experiences, life, love, dreams, and nightmares.
I do feel that this book was originated as a dream that came true as the worst and sweetest nightmare. A slow and naive love story sealed in an eternity of memories, in a world of intangible bodies and thoughts. Mistakes, sacrifices, fake altruism, and self-disregard. A walk to the stars with no return.
