Jujutsu Kaisen Review | Inkish Kingdoms Anime

I was a victim of TikTok and the constant wave of Jujutsu Kaisen videos you can encounter on the platform. I stopped watching anime a long time ago since it became a bit hard for me to find the ones that werenโ€™t too sexualized or tooโ€ฆ letโ€™s say childish for lack of a better world.

But what is quite contradicting is that I find childish anime boring, but the stupidest the better.

Is the Jujutsu Kaisen anime good?

Let me say this first: Jujutsu Kaisen is the stupidest most absurd anime I have watched in a long timeโ€ฆ even though I watched โ€œMagical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi.โ€

Jujutsu Kaisen has a perfect balance between comedy, action, and thrilling excitement of a demon exorcising saga. Although the characters are supposed to be teenagers, there is a lack of emotional rambling and tears of frustration. They go down to business. Even the most stressful and action-packed scenes are accompanied by absurd jokes or behaviors.

So yes, Jujutsu Kaisen is an incredible anime that will hook you from chapter one until the end of the season.

Why is Jujutsu Kaisen so popular?

Again, it is the addition of all its elements that make this anime so good. There is a certain homoerotic vibe to the saga while still not being too on the face. The characters are quite overpowered and are made of rubber as they can take so much damage and still be walking as nothing happened.

Yuji Itadori is ripped and oddly overpowered. He had superhuman strength and without any training, he was already able to do weird things. Besides, his personality is like one of a kid but still with a strong sense of morals to stick to his promises and goals, and his hair is dope!

Megumi Fushigo is the typical dark and serious character that seems to take everything too seriously. Even though his personality is way the opposite from Itadori, he adds the perfect balance in batter, powers, and comedy.

Satoru Gojo is the dopiest, strongest, and most amazing character of the show. He is the professor, what the rest want to be, he is simply on another level in matters of powers. Now, he is always hiding his face, and when he uncovers it you will see a bishonen. His dreamy lilac hair, rainbow eyes, and personality are so irreverent, funny, sweet, and caring, no wonder why people are having such a huge anime crush on this character.

Should you watch or read Jujutsu Kaisen so popular?

Yes, it is worth watching. The plot moves fast, there doesnโ€™t seem to have fillers and the story has always something going on to make it interesting.

I just started watching Sailor Moon, and it has been fun getting back into anime. This one has piqued my interest as well.
