We want to encourage and help indie authors to reach a bigger audience. We all have our dreams, and we want to help as many people as possible. So read more indie books and support small pages by sharing and using their links! So, let’s see what David has recommended to us!

Cradle series by Wight Wight
“Sacred artists follow a thousand Paths to power, using their souls to control the forces of the natural world. Lindon is Unsouled, forbidden to learn the sacred arts of his clan. When faced with a looming fate he cannot ignore, he must rise beyond anything he’s ever knownโฆand forge his own Path.”
A story of surpassing your own limits and of the chosen one who will save us all. The whole premise of your power coming out of your soul that will allow you to control the forces of nature sounds simply so good! This is one of David’s favorite indie series of all times since he read 7 available books in 22 days.
You should totally read this series and read Davids’s review where he says that these books are incredibly fast-paced at times and very addictive. The action sequences are intense and get more and more riveting as the charactersโ power increases. The Cradle is the very definition of a page-turner that will leave you gasping for breath.
Kings Dark Tidings series by Kel Kade
“Rezkin was raised and trained in a secret fortress of the Kingdom of Ashai, but when a terrible battle destroys everything he knows, he is thrust into the outworld. He has no understanding of what is going on or his purpose but for some reason, he has a set of masterful weapons that the king left to him. Rezkin extends his protection to an unlikely assortment of individuals he meets along the way, often leading to humorous and poignant incidents.“
Not only the story that Kel Kade has created seems to be amazing, but also the cover is so incredible! David does not have a full review for this story, but I would totally add it to my Kindle Unlimited List. I want to know more about Rezkin’s adventures. I honestly get some vibes about Shadow and Bone here!
Amra Thetys series by Michael McClung
“There are two rules that Amra Thetys follows: take care of business and never let it get personal. But her rules crumbled to dust when a fellow rogue and friend is butchered on the street in a deal gone wrong. She leaves burglary behind to chaise revenge. However, a nightmare assortment of enemies, including an immortal assassin and a mad sorcerer are in Amraโs path to accomplish revenge, what would she do then?“
David shares that although this is part of a five-book series, you can enjoy it as a stand-alone. These books are full of action, intrigue, danger, and mystery. Also, look at the cover! There is nothing like seeing such a good story with a matching cover!
In Shadows We Fall by Devin Madson
Empress Li is out of favor at court. She is foreign-born and past her prime, she is to be set aside. But she won’t go quietly. With nothing left to lose, Li will do anything to stop Emperor Lan from signing a secret alliance that could tear the empire apart. Yet when her life is threatened, old mistakes come back to haunt her and only a three-year-old boy can change the course of history.
Empower women much? Just by that, you got my full attention, but I mean David speaks wonder about this title too. David found this novel a really enjoyable story. David is excited to dive into this world more and see the consequences of the events that happened in this story play out in both The Vengeance and The Reborn Empire trilogies!
A Testament of Steel (Instrument of Omens #1) by Davis Asura
“Cinder Shadeโs life begins on a fateful afternoon where he awakens, bruised, battered, and bereft of all memory. His only understanding is to protect those who canโt defend themselves and become worthy warriors. Cinder discovers within himself a peculiar gift, one in which the codes of combat are made evident and the language of steel is made clear.
His hard-earned skills are put to the test when strange rumblings emanate from deep in the Dagger Mountains. The world believed this rumbling deity had been long dead, but it is very much alive and remembers its enemies all too well. Even if they donโt remember themselves.”
For David, this book was hard to rate. On one hand, he enjoyed this book a lot. He had a lot of fun with this book and is excited about the second book. What had him struggle were the dialogues of good and evil that came out a bit “cheesy.” However, it seems that the romance aspect of the story had a positive impact on David. We will need to check it out, right?
All these novels and series are quite intriguing and promising hours of entertainment! I am so happy that David from Fanfiaddict.com helped us put this list together! Not only the covers are great, the stories appealing, but also we have his unbiased points of view about them, so what are you waiting for?
