In the spirit of the Pride month celebration! We want to give you more recommendations about LGBT+ narrators, authors, and stories! And, although the Audible page does not have much information about this narrator, we have done some research! For this month, our spotlight falls on Logan Rozos! He is a professional actor and his debut was in 2019 as Star Child on the Oprah Winfrey Network drama โDavid Makes Man.” Logan came out as a gay transgender man to his supportive and loving parents and older sister at the age of 15 and cares passionately about advocacy for LGBT youth.
In his speech at the Parity Awards in November 21st, 2019, he says โI am gay. I am trans. I am a Christian. Despite the fact that we are so often made to feel unwelcome in religious spaces, I do not see my identities as contradictory.โ When it comes to narrations, he has narrated, so far, three incredible diverse books that you can see below!
Felix Love has never been in love – and, yes, heโs painfully aware of the irony. He desperately wants to know what itโs like and why it seems so easy for everyone but him to find someone. Whatโs worse is that, even though he is proud of his identity, Felix also secretly fears that heโs one marginalization too many – Black, queer, and transgender – to ever get his own happily ever-after.
Pay attention to pronouns here my fellow readers… Carey Parker dreams of being a diva, and bringing the house down with song. They can hit every note of all the top pop and Broadway hits. But despite their talent, emotional scars from an incident with a homophobic classmate and their grandmotherโs spiraling dementia make it harder and harder for Carey to find their voice.
Then Carey meets Cris, a singer/guitarist who makes Carey feel seen for the first time in their life. With the rush of a promising new romantic relationship, Carey finds the confidence to audition for the role of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, in the school musical, setting off a chain reaction of prejudice by Careyโs tormentor and others in the school.
Noah Ramirez thinks heโs an expert on romance. He has to be for his popular blog, the Meet Cute Diary, a collection of trans happily ever afters. Thereโs just one problem – all the stories are fake. What started as the fantasies of a trans boy afraid to step out of the closet has grown into a beacon of hope for trans listeners across the globe.
When a troll exposes the blog as fiction, Noahโs world unravels. The only way to save the Diary is to convince everyone that the stories are true, but he doesnโt have any proof. Then Drew walks into Noahโs life, and the pieces fall into place: Drew is willing to fake-date Noah to save the Diary. But when Noahโs feelings grow beyond their staged romance, he realizes that dating in real life isnโt quite the same as finding love on the page.
