Oh well hello! thank you for coming and reading this article! You might wonder if that is true, and the answer is, not really but it kind of is. Does that make sense? Maybe not! but maybe after I finish my rambling, we will understand what in the name of Jeff Bezos I am talking about. We all know that Netflix has been eager to adopt as many books as possible into Netflix shows and so on. We have seen this already with “The Witcher” and “To all the Boys I loved Before”, but an important question, is Netflix the only one doing this?
No, they aren’t the only ones! In this case, Prime Video and Amazon are putting an effort to come up with amazing stories and adaptations for book fans and videos fans!
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill
Let me blow your mind because that is “Nosferatu” if you are not gagging out of the revelation, I am done here. Now, Joe Hill, Stephen King’s son who followed his father’s steps on the horror genre wrote his 19-hour story a while back, and Amazon couldn’t let go of the opportunity to adapt this to the bring screen! For those who like Zachary Quinto, and I am not saying in what way, this is a “treat” for you! So get your headphones on, start listening and then get on watching! There is nothing like watching a show and yelling at the screen THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN! but what do I know?
Jack Ryan by Tom Clancy
Tom Clancy’s nineteenthology! (just came up with that word! so literate) Yes, this is a 19 book series of crime, suspense, action, and mystery events! Starred by John Krasinski, you saw him in a Silent Place and The Office! This was adapted by Amazon as well and, so far, there are 2 seasons of this show! So you can start reading these page-turners or… minute tuner stories? I don’t know but the point is that the books must be gripping and let’s be realistic, who does not like a good action-packed story?
Good Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett
Okay, now we slow down a bit with the stressful events in Jack Ryan and the horrific story of NOS4A2, and we move into a more… apocalyptic kind of comedy? Another big boss of storytelling Neil Gaiman together with Terry Pratchett came up with the humorous story of an angel and a demon who became friends on Earth… They have been living here for years! and have become… acquainted with the mortal pleasures that now seem to be getting to an end since Armageddon is right around the corner.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman
This one is a bit old but still worth reading and loving! “Locked behind bars for three years, Shadow did his time, quietly waiting for the day when he could return to Eagle Point, Indiana. A man no longer scared of what tomorrow might bring, all he wanted was to be with Laura, the wife he deeply loved, and start a new life, but all changed when his wife dies and when he accepts a job from a beguiling stranger he meets on the way home, an enigmatic man who calls himself Mr. Wednesday”, whiteout know that this relationship will put him in a middle of a war that he is either not ready to face or it is outside of his league.
Carnival Row by Stephanie K. Smith
We take fantasy and fiction to the next level with the incredible Carnival Row! Not only an Amazon Original but also an Audible Original! Original square! With Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevigne starring in this show, we welcome a world of fantasy, fairies magic, violence, love, and brutality that only highlights the atrocities of humanity! Watch the trailer, and tell me you don’t want to watch this right now! and hear me out! The audiobook is only 3 hours, so you better get on listening!
The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan
The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become a legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.
Moiraine Damodred arrives in Emond’s Field on a quest to find the one prophesized to stand against The Dark One, a malicious entity sowing the seeds of chaos and destruction. This is a while 14 series book that you can dive into right now! Get the audiobook free and enjoy the amazing fantasy novel that has come to change the world!
Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien narrated by Andy Serkis
In a sleepy village in the Shire, a young hobbit is entrusted with an immense task. He must make a perilous journey across Middle-earth to the Cracks of Doom, there to destroy the Ruling Ring of Power – the only thing that prevents the Dark Lord Sauron’s evil dominion. Thus begins J. R. R. Tolkien’s classic tale of adventure, which continues in The Two Towers and The Return of the King.
The new recording of the audiobooks is amazing! Andy Serkis comes with a new interpretation of this amazing story! We don’t have a trailer yet, but it is soon to come!!

I love the Jack Ryan show, although I’m a bit intimidated by how long the book series is! And I’m definitely going to have to give some of these other shows a shot (Wheel of Time 👀) after reading the books.

The wheel of time is also really long! I haven’t read anything as long as that and Percy Jackson’s books don’t count 😂😂😂
