For many, this has been the book that almost made them laugh out loud in public! So if you are afraid of strangers looking at you weird for reading and laughing in public… maybe this isn’t the best book for you then…

Pretty much anything written by Christopher Moore is a go! If you read this book, you will see yourself recommending it to everybody in every possible situation! The novel is so funny that people are even thinking on forming a cult around the book.

Even when you are going through some personal difficulties, this book will help you see the light at the end of the tunnel! Note: mind yourself that the the B&N version is beautiful!

Now a Hulu TV series to take your experience to another level and laugh not only while reading it but also while watching it!

Martin Banks is just a normal guy who has made an abnormal discovery: he can manipulate reality, thanks to reality being nothing more than a computer program. With every use of this ability, though, Martin finds his little โ€œtweaksโ€ have not escaped notice. Rather than face prosecution, he decides instead to travel back in time to the Middle Ages and pose as a wizard. So what could go wrong? EVERYTHING!

A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole

We are on the fence to weather this novel is will give you warm feelings or not… but it is funny and that is what we are looking for at this moment… right? Some people consider it the funniest book they have ever read, so… would it be yours? Even reviews depict this novel as the Don Quixote of the French Quarter!

Also, the Balckwell’s link is the Penguin Clothbound Classics… and it has hotdogs as he cover!

The Dresden Files Series by Jim Butcher

Dry humor at its best! Sometimes it is even just too much and intense to handle.

Wizards in Chicago, vampires in the bordello, and more magic than you can shake a stick at or at least a staff. Fast plot and a very good start for the rest of the series!

So, you will have books and books to laugh and wonder what is wrong with your life…

Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon by Spider Robinson

You can pretty much find this only on Amazon, but why should you read this? Well, because you can’t go wrong with a sci-fi that happens mainly on a pub… We are already there on a good start! The novel is full of jokes, pubs, and people ready to listen to each other problems.

Also, some of the best banter in this series… comes from a German Shepherd… so… you know what we mean?

The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune

A personal favorite, sweet, endearing, and made me chuckle a few times! The conversation between the characters is the best part of the novel. It has a few lessons, but the banter! the jokes, the way they talk to each other… perfect!

The banter in The Dresden Files is my favorite of all time! I love how Harry has the best possible sarcastic comment to make even in the worst possible situations! There are times where I was convinced that his smart mouth would definitely get him unalived, lol!
