Hello book royalist!
I know this is an overdue review… but I forgot I had to write this review. I thought it was all good to go, but I had too much faith in my blogging abilities lately.
I read the first book, Scythe, as part of a book club at work. We were supposed to read/listen the first 50% of the book by the first meeting, and by that time, half of the participants have read the second book already! I thought they were crazy, but actually, they were so right!
Usually, the second book of a trilogy or a saga is weaker than the first one, and that is because we had so many expectations for that book that we get a bit disappointed that it was not as good as we thought it would be. However, Thunderhead is as good as the first one. If Hephaestus was the blacksmith of the gods, Shusterman is his equivalent in plot twits. I was gagging, shocked, gasping, and struck while listening to this book!

You will not get a break from the author. When you think everything is going down… you are right because everything is exploding down. The level of craft these two books have is incredible! They have a bit of dystopia, utopia, the rebellion of the machines, the clash of forces, good and evil, love and hormones! Action packed to another level and decisions that had so many repercussions (hence the quote)!
If you have the chance to read this book go ahead and do it! If you have the chance the audiobook, go ahead and do it! If you need the ebook too, go and get it! There is no way this book will not trap you as the venus will try the fly!
Question time!
